Q: WHAT TYPES OF COMMUNICATION ARE USED?
A: We have an email list for general center updates via the Director of Families, Stacey Windover as well as text alerts for on the go notifications. Most importantly, we use BrightWheel, an app on your phone to see what your kids are learning, eating, and participating in each day along with a message system to stay connected with teachers.
Q: What does the CURRICULUM look like?
A: Curriculum at the Early Learning Center includes teacher-directed and child-initiated activities that support development physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Each classroom has weekly lesson plans, posted on the classroom parent board containing activities designed to foster each child’s development and learning style. Each classroom is set up in centers including, but not limited to: blocks, dramatic play, art, large / small motor, and books. For a full understanding, please schedule a tour!
Q: what food is included in tuition?
A: Children at the Early Learning Center are provided two snacks (AM and PM) and lunch. Menus will be posted in the cafe, on classroom parent boards, and in BrightWheel. Part-time Preschool will include a snack and beverage. Full-time or full-day children will receive an AM & PM snack, beverage, and lunch. The After-School program for school-aged children will include a snack and beverage. (Infants need to be provided with bottles / baby food until parent requests lunch food be fed.)
